Brains working towards machine consciousness

I have added the Google Friend Connect 'membership' gadget to the site.  This doesn't actually let people join the site (you can do that by registering, if you convince me you are human, interesting/ed and not a spam bot!) but it does allow you to use an existing Google, Yahoo etc. ID to register your interest in the site and also to use various platforms you might be signed up to, to share it with your friends (or maybe people you really, really hate :-))
I also had a look at some of the stats for the web site, and noticed from the aggregators which report how many people are subscribed when they drop by for the RSS feed, there are 10 subscribers.  I am actually rather impressed that 9 people have added this to an aggregator.  I am 1 of them (hence the number dropping just then...) and I can guess a least (but also, at most...) 4 others.  So can I just say a big HI to the 5 I can't guess! Well, and to those I can guess too, of course.
Please feel free to drop in and use the Friend Connect thing so I know who is insane enough to read my ramblings.
Oh, I also got round to adding the Creative Comons license thingy.  I had had a site wide CC attribution non-commercial license applied at one point, but with an upgrade to the server software I mislaid it, and have only just remembered to find the latest version and install it.  So, by default, posts here will be on an Attribution non-commercial basis, but I may well vary that on a per-post basis, or change my policy on it at some point.
