Brains working towards machine consciousness

In typical Ben style, he argues why you should vote. I feel compelled by the logic. I should find time to read more of Ben's stuff too - though last time I was reading it I did wonder quite why he was using my brain rather than his own. To be fair, I suspect it may be as well as his own as I think he is somewhat more brainy than me.

Essentially, you should vote because by doing so you are more likely to live in the branch of the multiverse in which people like you vote, which means that the politics in 'your' branch of the metaverse will suit you better. Of course, you can also hope that people who are not like you are less likely to appreciate the argument involved, and are thus less likely to vote.
